The Academy Of Classical Ballet - CALIFORNIA is proud to present our upcoming Spring show, "A Music Box Dream". We are truly excited to offer this special show we invite you to attend our performances of this lively tale.
It all starts with a young girl helping her elder sister prepare for her big night, as she will be attending the town's annual ball – the event of the year. Both are giddy with excitement as they sift through a jewelry box to pick out just the perfect pairing of jewels for the evening.
As the elder sister departs to the ball, the younger sister dances around and plays with the jewelry, dreaming about what an amazing night her sister is going to have. After dancing herself to sleep, the music from the jewelry box plays on, as a soundtrack for her dreams to come.
As she falls into a deep sleep, she begins to dream and the jewels magically come to life, creating the backdrop for an epic journey all on its own. As the older sister arrives home from ball, the younger is awakened. Both girls share the tales of their amazing adventures and fall back to sleep dreaming of music, dancing, and jewels.
Please join us for our performances of this classically-themed tale. It will surely be an event to remember, as we promise a high-level production, in an intimate setting, and at a great value. We can’t wait to see you there!
